Evan Crocker DVM, Practice Owner

Doctor Crocker earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cal State San Bernardino in 1992 and a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science as well as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University in 1994 and 1996 respectively. After graduation he worked as an associate veterinarian in Monroe, WA and subsequently purchased the Mercer Island Veterinary Clinic in 1997. Doctor Crocker has formed a healthcare team and practice that he is very proud of, whose goal is to provide the highest level of health and preventive care possible in a compassionate and caring environment.

Seattle Veterinary Dentistry was formed in 2017, offering Oral Surgery and Advanced Veterinary Dentistry on a referral basis, catering to patients with challenging oral healthcare needs from hospitals from the entire Puget Sound Region. This includes Seattle, the Eastside, and North and South Sound areas.

Over the past decade, he has developed a very strong interest in advanced veterinary dentistry as well as oral surgery. He is constantly improving the quality of dentistry services offered through continuing education and equipment upgrades needed to do excellent work.

This passion was formalized in 2011 when he entered a residency program to work toward meeting the requirements for Board Certification in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery. Doctor Crocker enjoys all facets of Dentistry including root canals, restorative dentistry, jaw fracture repair, oral cancer surgery, and periodontal disease treatment. He enjoys dentistry since “It allows me the opportunity to have an instant and profound impact on an animal’s quality of life, same day. I cannot express the joy I feel when pet parents tell me that they have seen huge improvement in just a few days after their dog or cat has had oral surgery.”

Seattle Veterinary Dentistry is currently one of five practices in Washington State offering advanced dental care at this level.

He is a member of the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry, Washington State Veterinary Medical Association, Puget Sound Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

His outside interests include spending time with his family and pets, playing soccer with his GSSL team, watching English Premier League and club soccer, attending Sounders games, and playing video games (when there is time).
