Monique Feyrecilde, LVT, VTS (Behavior)
Monique joined the Seattle Veterinary Dentistry team in March, 1997.
She holds a BA in Psychology, is a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington, and serves as a technician as well as the Hospital Manager for the clinic.
She is a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Behavior, one of only 14 such specialists worldwide. Her special interests are applied animal behavior of all species and proactive preventive medical care.
In 2015, Monique was named Veterinary Technician of the Year for the USA and Canada by PetPlan.
Outside of the clinic, Monique enjoys teaching classes for dogs and their owners in obedience, agility and Rally obedience. Her group classes are held at Seattle Agility Center. Monique also offers private consultations in obedience and behavior modification for dogs and cats.
Monique’s pets include dogs Lucy, Zora, Rye, and Kestrel, Frankie the cat, and an African Grey parrot named Stanley. Also sharing the house are two pet snakes, Agador and Ebenezer Squeezer. She competes at the national level in agility and stockdog events with her dogs, as well as competing in Rally and obedience. They all enjoy spending time at the beach, hiking and camping with her husband Sal.
